Guy Lucchi joined Health Innovation Manchester’s executive team in June 2019 as Digital Innovation Director and is responsible for leading the organisation’s digital transformation programme. Guy is a highly experienced digital leader with a proven track record in shaping and delivering large and complex digital health strategies and transformation programmes. Guy is a passionate believer that technology has a fundamental role to play in helping transform outcomes of patients and citizens by enabling integration of wellness, health, social care and life sciences services. A highly proactive and result driven individual, with a broad and deep understanding of healthcare and digital technologies, Guy excels at managing relationships at all levels from board room to technical experts. A creative thinker that leads from the front, with an infectious passion to devise and deliver innovative solutions. Born and bred in Manchester, Guy attended the University in Salford and has been instrumental in shaping and delivering many of the digital platforms currently in use across the Manchester healthcare system today.

Strategic Lead for Making Smoking History and Smokefree Pregnancy, Greater Manchester Health and Social Care (GMHSC) Partnership

Jane Coyne is a senior midwife and Strategic Lead for Making Smoking History and Smokefree Pregnancy programmes for the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership and has managed the Greater Manchester Smokefree Pregnancy programme since April 2018. Jane has been responsible for implementing and embedding this complex programme that is pioneering in its work, taking a system-wide approach in the implementation of NICE guidance through the babyClear model. The Greater Manchester approach combines this with an incentive scheme which aims to introduce a new data set to capture programme outcomes. Jane has been influential in adapting the programme to ensure its sustained delivery throughout the pandemic. Jane is passionate about ensuring Element 1 of the Savings Babies Lives Bundle is fully embedded to reduce the number of people who smoke during pregnancy. Her goal is for Greater Manchester to reach the national ambition of reducing the percentage who are Smoking at the Time of Delivery to 6% or less by 2022. Prior to leading on the Smokefree Pregnancy Programme, Jane worked for Bolton NHS Foundation Trust for over 18 years. When Jane isn’t working you will find her on the side-line of the football pitch supporting her son or walking the dog.

Specialist Smokefree Pregnancy Midwife, The Northern Care Alliance NHS

Andi Robertson is a specialist midwife who has been leading the implementation of the Greater Manchester Smokefree pregnancy programme for her local trust, the Northern Care Alliance NHS for the last 2 years. Andi is the heart of a maternity-led stop smoking team delivering a system-wide intervention to ensure those who are smoking when they come to pregnancy are supported to quit. Andi has embraced the challenges faced by the pandemic ensuring the service has remained fully functional, including the introduction of virtual support and the use of individual carbon monoxide monitoring. Andi has been a pivotal part of the team co-designing the newly embedded GM system wide stop smoking platform of maternity services, ensuring this was fit for purpose and easy to use for all. Andi and the team remain clear that they wish to reach the national ambition to reduce the prevalence in smoking in pregnancy to 6% or less before the rest of England.
