Have you ever had the necessity to meet a quite big group of people and achieve a common goal? If so, than you probably know that it is not an easy thing. It is not easy to get every person’s opinion, it is not easy to achieve a compromise, not to mention achieving win-win situation. It is sometimes not so easy to achieve those in small groups. But there is a way to help, … there is a light in the tunnel, … and that light is called Gamestorming.

Gamestormin book cover

Recently, a book has been recommended to me. Its title was very catchy “Gamestroming: A playbook for Innovators, Rulebreakers, and Changemakers”. It is nothing else but a set of different games which you can use during your meetings or workshops to activate the participants and achieve expected goal efficiently. It presents various ideas how to waken the creativity of people and create challenging environment which encourages engagement. It is not important if you would like to find the root cause of some problem, create a vision for the future or generate a lot of ideas. All of these and many other problems can be solved using some of the games which can be found in that book.

While reading I just fell into it and I didn’t even notice that a few hours passed. Another encouraging thing is that sometimes you will find there solutions which you use in your everyday life which just confirm that you have taken the right direction. And sometimes you will notice that there are easier ways to perform. What is also wonderful about that, is that you don’t have to read the whole book. If you have a problem, you can use Cheat Sheet available on www.gamestorming.com to check which games can help you.

I really recommend investing your time in reading it. You will not regret it. And I am saying this not only because I liked reading it. I have tried the ideas and they really work.

Don’t wait, dive into gamestorming.
