After you’ve settled in your life and have recognized your capabilities, you are ready to share what you have with others – especially those, who are not as lucky as you. This is a sign of life maturity – a kind of responsibility of ownership. The awareness of a fact that the more you owe, the more obligations and duties you actually have.
Transmitting this perspective on a large scale of a company – it becomes clear that an organism of such a significant size – 450 employees, 6000 m2 of the office space – wouldn’t grow like that independently – by itself and in a total vacuum. Objectivity is successful thanks to its Clients, employees, suppliers, investors – more or less directly – and – indirectly – thanks to the local communities (both in Poland and in the United Kingdom), the universities, the certification institutes, the families of the employees etc. Nobody and nothing functions in a vacuum and what happens to us is a resultant of how we interact with others.
This year Objectivity started turning its spontaneous and heart-dictated, random community support actions into more organized and systematic program of sustainable engagement in solving the most crucial problems of our stakeholders. As a company, we’re older now, more mature, more aware, more confident and more knowledgeable, capable of consciously returning to the society what we’ve been granted for so many years.
Only in June, we’ve supported 26 direct beneficiaries and much more indirect ones, providing them 5 workshops and 1 tough community manual work. We’ve taught NGOs representatives how to enhance a potential of their organizations so that they deliver social benefits even more effectively. We are a proud co-executor of a unique environmental project called a Bumblebee Kindergarten, in which we’ve not only helped the endangered species of insects but managed to lift up a passionate local ecologists’ group, who got an attention in the scientific nationwide media.
We’re still building our CSR vision, but already today, we can say that sharing knowledge, employee volunteering and solving precise problems of our neighbors are the issues closest to our hearts. Win-Win has always been our overall philosophy – and we’ll follow it in all of our CSR activities.
