Success of our HR on a nationwide conference “The Challenges of HR”

Our HR Team has just done a lot for the promotion of Objectivity as employer of choice. On a nationwide conference called “The Challenges of HR”, organised by the biggest and most prestigious Polish job-portal pracuj.pl, three of our Human Resources Business Partners: Adrianna Kołosowska-Ryżewska, Kamila Górecka and Monika Gorzelak-Bieńko, shared their knowledge and experiences with more than 150 HR and Management experts from a whole country. The audience gave Adrianna and Kamila’s lecture a note of 4.33 out of 5.

Kamila explained that, “While revealing some of our secrets of how to create friendly and motivating workplace, we concentrated on emphasising the fact that it’s not only the money that motivates people, but also all the non-material benefits that the employer offers, e.g. atmosphere and mutual respect – says Kamila.

Adrianna added, “We made the audience familiar with a lot of case studies from Objectivity and showcased a few interesting theories that support our work. One of them was the theory of self-determination, by Edward Deci and Richard Ryan, which claim that people have innate psychological needs that are the basis for self-motivation and personality integration: competence (seeking to control outcomes and experience excellence), relatedness (the will to interact and care for others) and autonomy (an urge to be the owner of your life and act consistently with your integrated self).

Monika participated in a panel discussion concerning candidate experiences in the recruitment process. She told us, “The way we recruit in Objectivity is, according to many candidates, unique. We treat candidates with respect, providing them with as much information as needed, throughout every level of the selection process. We realise that the candidate’s first impression of the company is often what encourages or discourages him or her to stay in touch with a potential employer. That is why we do our best to keep them content, for example, by giving them feedback in a short timeframe – adds Monika.

As knowledge transfer is what we promote within Objectivity, this year our experts will at more conferences. We’ll be showcasing more ideas and sharing more secrets at the Developer Days in October. Stay tuned for more information.
