Principal Support Engineer

I am a Principal Support Engineer with over 25 years IT experience looking after customer applications with specialist knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.

Initially a chemistry graduate, I became disaffected by the lack of career opportunities available when I was younger, and decided to switch paths and try my hand at IT. Following a quick ten-week course, I landed a job with British Gas where I spent the next ten years honing my skills. Subsequently at Objectivity I have gone on to support such companies as Primark, PGL, Buck and Hickman, ESOS and Monsoon.

A self-starter who is happy to work in a team or using my own initiative, I continue to love my second career as there is always something new to learn.

As a keen rambler I can often be found out in the National Forest with my wife and pack of dogs trying to capture the local flora and fauna with my camera. As a member of CAMRA I can sometimes be found trying to track down another perfect drop at the occasional beer festival.
