Objectivity Summer Party 2015

What’s this about? Objectivity’s annual summer party.

Where? At a private beach in Boszkowo.

With the autumn months fast approaching, all of us here at Objectivity can’t help but reminisce about our amazing summer party that took place on the 13th – 14th June 2015. There’s just no comparison to a beach party on a lovely summer weekend. The party was held at a large private beach in Boszkowo, a small city with a lovely beach and clean lake.

On arrival, everyone got a map of all the attractions and activities for the day. We participated in a lot of sports activities such as paintballing, diving, horse riding, regatta, ping pong, football, snooker and riding bananas. It was the ultimate test of teamwork and everyone got to display their physical prowess.

The teams were also given the opportunity to catch up and bond with colleagues from across the company, and get to know those they don’t work with on a daily basis. The aim was to create a summer playground with the illusion of a journey to the past – we wanted to reconstruct the atmosphere of the Baltic Sea coastal towns where everyone could reminisce about their holidays and boost morale. Everyone likes a holiday – and this familiar topic helped to find common ground between Objectivity’s 400+ employees across Poland and England.

The atmosphere was relaxed and laid back. Hunger and thirst were kept at bay with three bars and plenty of food – everything from burgers to grilled fish. Sugary delights such as ice cream and endless amounts of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks were served.

After the day’s activities, everyone was given the opportunity to rest and relax at a nearby hotel provided by Objectivity before getting ready for the party in the evening. The party was held at a big tent situated on the beach where we partied and danced the night away. At 5am, we all finally retired to our hotel rooms to recuperate, returning to Wroclaw on Sunday afternoon.

At Objectivity our motto is work hard, play hard and we definitely played hard at our summer party this year. The main motive every year is to integrate the teams and get everyone to spend a lot of time together. Our employees said that it was the best party ever and so it’s hard to imagine how we are going to top it next year but either way, we hope to come up with ideas to create an even bigger and better party. We are not worried though because at Objectivity, everything improves with time! We certainly cannot wait until our Christmas festivities.
