Objectivity welcomes its 200th employee

Founded in Coventry in 1991, Objectivity took a decision to open a development centre in Poland in 2005. On the first day, there were just 5 employees. “I still remember when I first entered the empty office”, reminisces one of the co-founders and FD Rob Helle. “There was no furniture and you could still smell freshly applied paint. In the next few hours tables, chairs and computers arrived and by 2 o’clock we were in full swing. Wroclaw seemed like an obvious choice. It’s quick and easy to get to from the UK and there is a fantastic pool of talented IT professionals.”

The rest, as they say, is history. Our ever-expanding client base has resulted in continued growth and in November 2013 the Polish branch welcomed its 200th employee. “We’re not stopping at 200 though” says Head of Human Resources, Dorota Kulka. “Including the UK office, we expect to welcome our 250th employee in early 2014!”

“It’s an incredibly exciting time to be with Objectivity. We’re very lucky that so many of our staff have stayed with us for so long. I think it helps that Objectivity is a values driven company, with policy of openness and trust. We really believe that investing in happiness of our people makes the best employees. We’re always on the lookout for new talent though and actively encourage people to get in touch”

Of course, growing at such a fast rate means that we have outgrown our offices and we are moving to a new home in December 2013. Rob Helle is looking forward (yet again) to the smell of freshly applied paint. If you would like to join our Objectivity family, please go to the Join Us page and get in touch.
